Torrie was among wrestling's most renowned wrestlers. Wilson emerged among the fields of potatoes wheat, and corn that Boise, Idaho is known for. Wilson began her career as a fitness trainer, but in the late 90s she made a foray into sport entertainment following a trip to WCW. It was during a time when she was with her ex-boyfriend. After taking Scott Steiner into the ring for a couple of weeks, she stayed on in the business for a total of ten years. Wilson managed David Flair and The Filthy animals as well as Billy Kidman. She also competed occasionally for WCW. Wilson started working with WWE as soon as the company acquired WCW, in spring 2001. Her sporting ability and passion for entertainment meant that Wilson was a great match for WWE during a time the industry was experiencing the most activity. Wilson was instrumental in WCW's efforts to break into WWE. She partnered with Stacy Keibler, her friend and, at times rival - who became her key teammate. Wilson was an important member of WWE Women's Division after the assault was defeated. She was engaged in a variety of memorable battles with Keibler as well as Sable. In fact, Dawn Marie was not able to stop Wilson from battling to protect the honor that her clan.
